Today (February 15), the domestic compound fertilizer market showed an upward trend with fluctuating prices, which remained relatively stable overall. Currently, the standard ex-factory price for 45% chlorinated compound fertilizers is between 2,350 and 2,400 yuan per ton, while the standard ex-factory price for 45% sulfur-based compound fertilizers (CAS.NO.63705-05-5) is between 2,600 and 2,650 yuan per ton. Wholesale prices in some areas have seen a slight increase. Due to the snowfall in the Central Plains region, temperatures dropped, which reduced dealers’ confidence in stocking up on fertilizers; as a result, there were few new sales at current prices. Weather conditions in the Central Plains are improving, and it is expected that prices will rise by the end of the month. Some manufacturers have stopped providing quotes in order to avoid the volatile market conditions. Compound fertilizer companies are generally optimistic about future market trends, and production rates are gradually returning to normal. However, only a few small enterprises plan to resume production after the 15th day of the first lunar month, with most compound fertilizer manufacturers not yet at their optimal production level. The operating rates of compound fertilizer manufacturers are generally normal, with slight improvements in their sales performance. Currently, the average ex-factory price for 45% sulfur-based compound fertilizers (CAS.NO.63705-05-5) is 2680 yuan per ton, while the average ex-factory price for 45% 5-chloro-based compound fertilizers is 2450–2500 yuan per ton. The average arrival price for 45% sulfur-based compound fertilizers from other provinces is 2720–2740 yuan per ton.
