May I ask, for the temperature sensing elements in a sieve plate tower, do they generally measure the temperature of the liquid phase or that of the gas phase?； Why?
It depends on whether the process requires measuring the vapor phase temperature or the liquid phase temperature.
Generally, it measures the gas phase. The liquid level on the sieve plate is low, and gas-liquid turbulence is high, making it unsuitable for measuring liquid temperature. The liquid temperature is generally measured at the liquid inlet and outlet.
