I heard there is a type where the copper tube is covered with plastic; what is its name? What are the limitations of using it? Thank you!

Our factory uses this type of tube as the air supply line for control valves; it’s known as a copper-core PVC cable. Previously, nylon tubes were used more often, but now they’ve been replaced almost entirely with these tubes, and the results are excellent – no problems have been observed. It’s much more convenient to use than stainless steel pipes.
Reply to 5# hjbjl: How should that joint be handled? Is the sealing performance guaranteed with a ferrule connector? What should be done if the intermediate joint needs to be welded?
Reply to 6# lifepasser: We use copper-based cartridge connectors, which offer excellent sealing performance. There are intermediate connectors, terminal connectors, plate-through connectors, reducer connectors, etc., and welding is not required!
