As I recall, in ventilation systems where explosive gases (flammable and explosive gases) are excluded, it is necessary to connect the individual sections of the ductwork using wires; but I’m not sure which standard specifies this requirement
Code for Design of Static Grounding in Petrochemical Industries SH3097-2000 4.3.6 For the non-conductive sections within metal piping, in addition to special anti-static treatment, the metal pipes at both ends should be connected to the main grounding wire, or they should be bonded together using copper stranded wire with a cross-sectional area of not less than 6 mm2 and then grounded
The design specifications for static grounding vary across different industries, with provisions varying accordingly.
