Has anyone used the WS-3 micro moisture meter? Will pressing the start button after loading the sample have an impact on the instrument? Thank you
The WS-3 trace water analyzer uses the coulometric Kjeldahl titration method, with the endpoint condition being a certain concentration of iodine maintained in the titration cell; it is not based solely on the visual endpoint, which helps to eliminate the influence of moisture in the environment and ensure a stable endpoint. For liquid samples, sampling is carried out using a syringe; whether electrolysis is started before or after sampling has no impact on the measurement results, as long as the time interval is not significantly long. If the analyzer has an automatic blank compensation function and the compensation current is high (especially when the cuvette is not properly sealed or there are constant interfering substances in the sample), electrolysis must be started first, followed by rapid sample injection.
