The electrostatic tar catcher is located ahead of the fan, and its internal operating pressure is negative; it operates at around 5000 pascals. What thickness should the explosion-proof plate have? The Coking Regulations do not explicitly state that an explosion-proof plate must be installed on the electric tar catcher in front of the machine
Based on practical experience, an aluminum plate 3 millimeters thick is sufficient; if it is too thin, the explosion-proof plate can easily break apart when cleaning with nitrogen or steam.
