Where is the drain pipe of a centrifugal air compressor connected to the compressor?

Our raw material air compressors feature four stages of compression and three stages of cooling, with an internal cooler. The cooler and the gas-water separator are designed as a single unit, with the gas-water separator located on the outlet side of the cooler. What does it mean by \"the cooler and the gas-water separator being designed as a single unit\"? Isn’t that just a drain pipe? Is there some special device inside?
The gas-water separator is used to collect condensed water. After the air compressor has been running for a while, the built-in cooler needs to be cleaned; you can check that at that time
