I have a bachelor’s degree, and it’s very difficult to get into a decent design firm at our university. After graduation, I joined a new company and have been doing little more than idling for over half a year. The new company can’t do anything; getting a meager salary of 2k per month is extremely frustrating. I’m looking for a equipment manufacturer now where the benefits are better. People are asking me whether I should wait until the company gets off the ground or change jobs sooner. To be honest, at the moment, in many ways, I don’t seem like the kind of person who can be a leader. What are the differences between working in equipment (boiler) factories and design institutes in terms of design work?
Competent manufacturing plants have their own design teams. Are you alone now? Is everyone okay? For the former, it’s still possible to consider staying; for the latter, there’s no point in thinking about it – just leave right away.

Ah, I’m confused – are there really few design tasks in boiler factories? I’m not really interested in being a salesperson
