As for the method of adding NaOH, it can be diluted first in a alkali preparation tank before being added to the raw material tank for neutralization
We haven’t added anything here; it’s just that the heater is severely corroded and needs to be replaced frequently. It is said to be due to formic acid decomposing at high temperatures. I’m not sure what material should be chosen instead
316 stainless steel can be used; generally, calcium carbonate is not added, as the reaction is difficult and involves certain technical challenges

304 material won’t work; the corrosion is too severe, with small holes all over the outer wall of the tube. .

Sodium hydroxide can be used; 316 material will work fine
