In the event of any leakage from pumps on site, on-site operators and DCS monitoring personnel must cooperate to promptly activate the standby pump. After shutting off the inlet and outlet of the emergency pump as well as the heat pump line valve (if any), drain the liquid from the pump after it has cooled down. Contact a professional for maintenance, and once completed, put it in standby mode.
