Hey, does anyone among you have a process flow diagram for the production of chlorobenzene with control points? I’m working on a course project and have already drawn a rough sketch; I would really appreciate it if I could get some guidance from an actual diagram. Thank you so much!

The main products involve chlorination -- storage tanks -- alkaline washing -- distillation. The by-products also undergo gas-liquid separation, impurity removal, treatment with hydrochloric acid, and subsequent gas neutralization and absorption. There are quite a few elements involved, such as the feeding conditions, control parameters, and so on. It’s best to obtain approval in order to visit the relevant factories for a look.
