Seek automation system diagrams for the petrochemical gas industry

I work in technical support for lightning protection products. My boss has asked me to create a diagram of a lightning protection system tailored to the needs of the petrochemical and gas industries, so that the company can use it at exhibitions. However, I don’t have any experience in factories, and I’m not sure what types of instruments are used in these industries, or which of those instruments require lightning protection. I would be grateful if those who work in the petrochemical and gas industries could share their knowledge with me. I’m new here, and I hope everyone can help me out a lot. Thank you all in advance! (It would be great if any senior could provide me with a diagram of an automatic control system used in the petrochemical or gas industry; I would be very grateful.)
