This pump is a standard hot oil pump. One option is to use a stationary bellows seal; for the flushing process, 32+62 will suffice, and the material to be used is TGR64/2. If this can be implemented, then there should be no problems – generally, one cycle is sufficient. Another option is to use a series-connected bellows mechanical seal, with a flushing scheme of 32+53A or 21+53A – this is the standard configuration. The materials are the same as those used before, and a pressure tank is required to ensure the proper operation of the downstream seal.
This pump places a lot of emphasis on inspection; as long as the quality of these inspections is maintained, there should be no major issues. A regular bellows seal is sufficient! However, it is necessary to consider protective measures in case of a leak or fire, such as adding remote switches or emergency shut-off valves. To completely solve the problem, it is necessary to add leak alarm interlocks and implement intrinsically safe sealing solutions!
A regular hot oil pump will do, one of the RY type is fine. But the pressure won’t be that high. For high pressure, the AY type oil pump can be used. Choose multiple levels.
