As a supplementary note: As we all know, both the petrochemical fire protection regulations and standard SH3007 for petrochemical storage tanks require the use of floating roofs for tanks of categories A1 and B1; in special cases, other types of roofs can be used. However, toluene in my case does not fall under those special circumstances specified in the regulations (such as oxidation, etc.). Can a fixed roof be used in such a situation? Who has similar experience? Please share.
I also would like to ask: According to Safety Measure Requirement No. 3142 issued by the General Administration of Work Safety, hazardous chemicals are subject to strict supervision, and for toluene as well, the use of metal floating tank or internal floating roof tanks is required.
