Regarding the determination of the detection range for toxic gases, should it be carried out strictly in accordance with the standards, or should the range be selected based on the sample?; Because I’ve found that in many cases, the range of calculations and the samples are different?
For toxic gas detection, the range on the sample must be greater than or equal to the range specified in the standards.
So, what should be done based on this experience?
Generally, the toxicity range is in ppm, with a lower alarm limit of 25.

Is it necessary to cover the entire chemical plant when installing flammable and toxic gas detectors?
Try to place the potential leakage points as far apart as possible; think things through thoroughly. According to the regulations, gas detectors need to be installed every 2 meters, so wouldn’t that result in them being placed all over the place? Not to mention the cost, walking around would become a problem.
