How is cyclohexane separated from benzene on an industrial scale? :handshake
The boiling point of both of these materials is just over 80 degrees, so distillation is definitely not a good option. Better separation methods are as follows: 1. Solvent extraction, using a solvent with selective solvating ability for aromatic compounds for extraction and separation ； 2. Separate benzene through freezing. This is currently the more economically viable separation method.
