Selection of flanges for level gauges

The issue of selecting the flange interface for equipment level gauges – how to choose it? What is the difference between DN50 and DN80? I would like to ask everyone for advice.

Perhaps the original poster is asking what size flange is needed for a level switch, and what size flange is required for a plate-type level gauge? I guess that’s right; the level switch uses DN80, while the plate-type level gauge uses DN20

You can just take a look at the product selection table or samples; it’s all listed there. The level switches from Zhejiang Lianda, Tongbo, and SOR that we are currently in contact with are all DN80.
Criteria for selecting the flange size: 1: Related to the size of the level gauge interface. 2: If the equipment opening is small, it is simpler to handle that opening (no reinforcement may be necessary). 3: Process requirements (a larger size makes it easier to clear blockages). 4: Economic considerations – the size should be as small as possible. 5: Requirements regarding the strength of the instrumentation pipe (usually not less than DN25)
