I have synthesized a new type of chloride with a chlorine content of 50%; the production process is environmentally friendly, requires low amounts of chlorine, pilot testing has been completed, and the cost is low. It has also been developed into other halides. It is preliminarily judged to be usable for corrosion prevention and flame retardancy.
