The brine treatment unit in our company first adopted Kai membrane filters; in recent years, many manufacturers along the coast of Shandong have switched to ceramic membrane filters when expanding their production capacity. I’ve been wanting to learn about the characteristics of ceramic membrane technology in order to consider adopting it. But after finding out, I’m not sure if it’s due to the previous manufacturing process for ceramic membranes – the PID values are different. The positions of the intermediate tank and the reaction tank are different in the two PID configurations ; One PID uses a coarse filter, while the other uses a barium salt sludge plate and frame filter press and a barium salt sludge hydrocyclone. I would appreciate it if everyone could give me some guidance on this situation, and also share information about how your company uses chlorine-alkali products! , , -
As far as I know, ceramic membranes should work fine for refined salt; however, there may be issues using them for sea salt or for nitrate removal by the barium method
Don’t many manufacturers in Shandong use sea salt? They also adopted the ceramic membrane filtration process!

You’d better go and see it in person; I just traveled across most of China last week and visited three manufacturers. I’m afraid it might lead to unnecessary arguments, so I won’t say much. Actually, I am quite in favor of this product. However, it seems that not many stores have the latest third-generation version available yet, so its performance is still unknown.
I believe the technology of third-generation products will definitely be more mature, and I hope it can be promoted. I also hope our company can adopt it so that we can progress together! Back then, the products made by Beihua Machinery weren’t very professional either; the blueprints were of poor quality and not standardized. Yet it has still managed to achieve decent success in sales today. Support national industries!

Nowadays, a fully automatic filter is generally used as pre-filtering before ceramic membranes, in order to prevent hard particle impurities from damaging the membrane tubes and to stop fibrous impurities from accumulating on the surface of these tubes. Who has information on KAI membrane filter cartridges?
We are installing Jiangsu Jiuwu’s ceramic membranes, and the piping work is still in progress. We plan to run a trial operation first to see how it performs.
