Seeking advice on applying for the title of Assistant Engineer in Instrumentation

This post was last edited by Baghdad on 2011-3-3 at 19:41. I would like to ask how to apply for the position of assistant engineer in instrumentation. Our company does not conduct such evaluations; one has to apply on their own. Those who have taken the exam, could you please explain the process?
It’s just so disgusting right now. Last year, the company handled the application process directly, but now they want us to do it on our own. They even say that those who don’t have a local residence permit can’t proceed – fuck that (vulgar language, just expressing frustration). It seems that the only option left is to take an exam; first, one has to pass a computer proficiency test, and it seems that a level C is required.
