What type of evaporation equipment should be used, and what should be its size? Please advise. Thank you very much! # + + . hcbbs
Four-effect evaporation, with parallel flow feeding
Multi-effect evaporation will suffice; the size and design of the equipment depend on the requirements of your product. The requirements for product purity and particle size are related to the type and size of the equipment as well as the manufacturing process.
We also have mirabilite. The size of the evaporation equipment isn’t the main issue; what’s important is to choose the right material for the evaporation tanks. We use 304L material. These days, the heat exchange tubes often develop holes in them. If cost isn’t a concern, titanium is the best choice; 316L is superior to 304L. I assume you use the full-halide process for alkali production – I wonder if brine is recycled back into the well. If that’s the case, attention must be paid to free chlorine levels, as it affects our equipment.

There are quite a number of devices; the main one is the crystallizer, with a diameter of around 2000 and a length of 8-9 meters. There are many other devices as well, including centrifuges. If you can provide detailed specifications, we can help you select the appropriate models
