In the coal pulverization pressurized gasification process, some sources indicate that if water from the jacket boiler leaks into the gasifier, it can cause channeling in the gasifier. Could those with more experience explain this phenomenon from a theoretical perspective of the reaction mechanisms?
There are major and minor leaks in the jacket of this unit. If there is a major leak in the jacket, it can extinguish the flame inside the furnace or cause the coal layer to become wet, leading to issues such as ash sticking to the walls. The high carbon content in the ash means that, from the operator’s perspective, it appears that the amount of water in the boiler is too high; the composition of the raw gas changes, the CO2 level is low, production is reduced, and the ash contains a high amount of carbon, resulting in ash sticking to the walls
