Which is better, management or design? ?

Seeking advice: I work at a chemical plant, where I am responsible for project design as well as project commissioning. I have been working there for four years and possess considerable practical experience. However, I’m not sure whether to continue working on chemical plant construction projects or switch to a career in production management ?
It depends on your interests and future job opportunities; sometimes you can’t do whatever you want.
I advise you not to change careers; skills never change, while management roles vary from person to person

It’s best not to work in technology. At first, working in this field seems fine – everyone treats you favorably – but over time they start to see you as a hindrance
