Regarding the password expiration issue in the PKS system

However, due to issues with the computer not being used for a long time, it became impossible to log in again after 5 months; one had to change the system time before being able to log in. This is very troublesome, and no matter how the system time is changed, the expiration date still doesn’t work properly. Does anyone with expertise know how to resolve this issue? :(Perhaps my question wasn’t detailed enough; I’ll be more specific.) The password I’m referring to is not the one for logging into the operation station, but rather the password for the engineer station – that is, the mngr password. In other words, it’s the password needed to open the PKS configuration program.
Come on, is this question really that difficult to answer? Does really no one know? I really need to know; please, some expert can give me some advice!

I’ve tried resetting the password, but it still doesn’t work; only by changing the system time can I log in properly. Is there any other way?
I’ve never changed the system time; it’s still working after several years. . . . . I don’t know why you still need to change the system time.
This post was last edited by 45713609 on 2011-3-9 08:44. As I mentioned earlier, this computer wasn’t used for about a year; in other words, it hadn’t been logged into for over a year. The expiration time for the password set seems to be 90 days. I guess few people are like me. Experts can take a look and help find an answer; I really don’t want to install it again – that 3-hour installation process is far too tedious!
It can’t really be that no one knows, right? Are there any other ways besides reinstalling?
You can change the password at the station, or you can do it in DOS as well; it should be possible.
Can’t I reset the system time after logging in, set a new password, restore the original time, and then log in again?
Reply to 10# Gern: Yes, I have tried your method, but it didn’t work. Actually, I can just reinstall it if necessary. I just want to know – isn’t there a perfect solution to this kind of problem?
