From the mother at birth, to the aunt in kindergarten, to the playmates who would fight over lollipops, to the gentle sister next door, to the cute younger sister, to the popular girl in school whom one would admire and follow as a teenager, to the girl from the class next door, to the girl one liked but only saw briefly in college, to the strict female boss when first starting work, to the female boss who appreciated and promoted one, and finally, most importantly, his wife. . . . Each one of them, every single one, is his life teacher. . . Some of them **he grew up with**, some of them **he loved**. .
