Typically, owners will state their requirements in a data sheet. It is not necessary for screw pumps. Temperature monitoring primarily involves detecting the temperature of bearings, and typically temperature sensors are used to make contact with the bearings in order to measure their temperature. Vibration detection is the same as well – it involves measuring the vibration of bearings. Leak detection refers to the detection of leaks in the pump body, usually through a hydrostatic test.
For the temperature monitoring, vibration monitoring, and leakage detection of screw pumps, manufacturers have relevant inspection standards to refer to during pre-shipment testing and calibration. Temperature monitoring mainly includes: the temperature rise of the bearings, the temperature rise at the mechanical seals, and the temperature of the pump itself. Vibration monitoring primarily covers vibration and noise. Leak detection mainly involves pressure testing of the pump body and mechanical seals, typically through hydrostatic testing; in cases where there are specific requirements, non-destructive testing can be employed (it seems that no company in China currently carries out this type of testing in practice)
