At the gas dispatch center, it is occasional to see coal compressors trip. What is the mechanism behind such trips of the coal compressors? What are the conditions that cause a motor to trip? Which parameters of gas change can lead to these conditions and thus trigger a motor trip?
It should be checked electrically, mainly to see if there are issues with the control circuit or if it’s overloaded.
Our company’s coal compressors also used to experience frequent tripping incidents; inspections of the electrical components revealed no problems. It was later found that liquid had accumulated in the imported coal gas pipes, and this liquid entering the fan was causing the tripping
The direct cause of the trip was definitely overload; I agree with what the two people above said
