Currently, both high-pressure and low-pressure coal slurry pumps often use diaphragm pumps. It is known that in several manufacturers’ cases, the screws on the diaphragm end caps of the pump heads have become loose, resulting in the shutdown of the gasification units. Has your company experienced such issues?
We have been in operation for over 6 years, and we have never encountered such a fault. The key is still to ensure good quality in maintenance work; although reciprocating pumps generate vibration, this does not cause the nuts to loosen.
