The main function of a pressure accumulator is to reduce fluctuations in the lubricating oil pressure, thereby maintaining a constant lubricating oil pressure around the engine.
Can it still serve as a buffer for lubricating the unit after the lubrication pump stops?
The accumulator can only provide temporary relief by reducing fluctuations; its function is different from that of the accident oil tank (high-level oil tank).
Units generally operate at high speeds, and even a short period of oil shortage or interruption in the supply of lubricating oil can have severe and irreversible effects on the supporting bearings of the unit, affecting its stable, safe, efficient, and optimal operation. Shutdowns of the unit due to switching operations of oil pumps or fluctuations in oil pressure during power fluctuations are not desirable; installing accumulators can help mitigate such fluctuations in oil pressure. The size of these accumulators is typically determined by the manufacturer
By storing a certain amount of energy, it helps to stabilize the oil pressure during fluctuations in oil pressure or when the oil pump is switched

Is there an accumulator in the lubrication oil circuit? Here, we only have bladder accumulators in the control oil circuit
Are there any requirements regarding the installation location of the accumulator? Will it have an impact if it is far away from the compressor unit?
