What is echo suppression in radar level gauges, and how is it achieved?
You haven’t made your question clear – how to control the echo? You need to specify what kind of problem it is, how it should be controlled, and how it should be handled.

Echo suppression means that the waves sent out do not return from the liquid surface but rather from somewhere else. Suppressing echoes involves eliminating those incorrect echoes so that a new waveform can be created. It’s hard to say exactly how to do it, as the products from different manufacturers may vary; we use those from E+H. If suppression is required, it can be achieved by suppressing it at about 50 CM above the actual liquid level. But if it’s a newly installed watch, it’s best to suppress it when the tank is empty.
Do I need to perform echo suppression whenever the tank is empty?
Simply put, echo suppression is the suppression of waves that are not reflected back from the liquid surface.
