Reply to 2#: I am from Baotai. Oh, what are the specific components and their contents of TAI9? Could you explain it in detail? Which is generally used in the chlor-alkali industry?
Reply to 4#: I’m from Baotai. So do you work on titanium equipment?
Titanium materials include tubes, titanium rods, sheets, and so on. TA2 is commonly used; the material is selected based on the client’s project requirements. Used in the metallurgical industry (copper, nickel, zinc, aluminum, magnesium, and other non-ferrous metals, as well as precious metals), the chlor-alkali industry, the electrolytic production of potassium chlorate, the lime-based production of potassium chlorate, ammonium chloride, the vacuum salt production process, and the mirabilite industry; it is also used in the pharmaceutical industry, among other applications.
Reply to 5# wanghb0530: Our company specializes in titanium equipment; we have been in this industry for nearly 30 years.
The most commonly used standard in the chlor-alkali industry is TA3 (i.e., TA2 under the old standards), which is used for manufacturing pipes and equipment; the reference standard is GB/T 3621-2007, Titanium and titanium alloy plates. Additionally, TA9 is a titanium target alloy; due to its high cost, it is generally used in the welding rings of equipment. There is no best material, only the most suitable one!
Reply to 6# mangnolia: Thank you. For a titanium heat exchanger used with acidified brackish water containing free chlorine, with a pH of around 2, an inlet temperature of around 75 degrees Celsius, and an outlet temperature of around 95 degrees Celsius, which type of titanium should be used?
Reply to 9# Daydreaming Scholar: There is no best material, only the most suitable one! Classic! What is good is not necessarily what is suitable.
