The resin tower always fails the calcium and magnesium testing after regeneration, but the results become satisfactory after some time of saltwater displacement. What is the cause of this? Both acid and base are used in excess during regeneration -
This post was last edited by limingshuguang on 2011-4-8 at 15:42. The following situations may apply: 1. Insufficient regeneration time. 2. The regeneration program is incorrect. 3. There is a problem with the resin part. 4. The height of the resin is insufficient. 5. Flow deviation occurs during resin regeneration.
The same problem occurred in our workshop as well; the manufacturer failed to resolve it. In the end, we replaced the resin, although the old resin passed the manufacturer’s tests as well. I suspect it’s likely due to the filter; what kind of filter do you use for your saltwater filter?
