The working conditions in chemical plants are poor; most of the work is demanding yet the pay is not very good.:L If one has to spend their entire life in the chemical industry, who can guarantee that they won’t regret it? :o

Back when I was in college, I chose the chemical engineering major for no particular reason; to justify the four years of tuition costs, I had to keep going step by step. Moreover, not all of them are highly toxic; refineries do have a certain odor, but they’re not particularly poisonous. As for toxicity, it’s more relevant to those who conduct tests and experiments with drugs, but generally, there are good protective measures in place (except for those who choose not to wear them just because it’s too much trouble). In this industry, the more experience you have, the more money you can earn – it’s an industry where experience truly counts
