Is silica gel used to produce silica?
Precipitation method or gas-phase method? You can contact me on QQ115479000
Reply to 3# yhwh* Gas phase method
Reply to 4# Ziyouyu-Yu-Xu: I’m not familiar with the vapor phase method, haha
We have carried out many projects on silica gel using the precipitation method in China. I hope friends can come together to exchange ideas.
Production process flow of precipitated silica: 1 Quartz sand + soda ash -- high-temperature calcination, cooling ---- solid water glass --- dissolution --- liquid water glass. 2 Water glass + sulfuric acid --- silica slurry --- pressure filtration --- washing --- pulping ---- drying --- final product packaging
A method for producing fumed silica via the gas-phase process involves using silicon tetrachloride, hydrogen, and air (expressed as oxygen) as raw materials, which are continuously fed into a hydrolysis furnace in a specific volume ratio to undergo a hydrolysis reaction. The reaction temperature is 1000–1100°C, and during this reaction, primary silica particles are formed; The reactant is aggregated into aggregated particles using an agglomerator, and after cyclone separation, two-stage air-jet deacidification, fluidized bed screening, and vacuum compression packaging, it becomes the final product.
I have worked on the sulfuric acid pumps and pH meters inside.
Eiwa Silicon Industry is the production process for meteorological silica!
It’s an industry of considerable scale – why aren’t there any professional books on it?
