The fuel I use in my heating furnace is dry gas. There is a liquid separation tank before the dry gas enters the furnace, and it is necessary to drain the liquid from this tank on a daily basis. Each time this drainage is carried out, it poses a problem for the workers. Does anyone have any good solutions?

In my opinion, the buffer tank at the outlet of the dry gas compressor is not capable of effectively separating liquids, which results in liquid contamination. I think it would be possible to address this by reducing the compression ratio or by using a liquid separation tank with cooling, but these solutions may not be practical or cost-effective.
Failing to address the problem at its root will only result in doubled effort with half the outcome, being completely futile; it’s better to increase the size of the gas tank and install a control valve for liquid removal.
It can be pressurized to the flare tank; we added a 25-inch pipeline, installed a double-flange level gauge, and added a small control valve, and the result was good.
It can be solved from two aspects: first, increase the dry gas temperature by adding heat tracing to the pipeline. II. Draw a line from the bottom of the liquid separation tank to directly pump away the liquid phase and send it to the tank area for further processing.

Condensate oil is usually sent to the crude gasoline tank and not discharged directly. The source of the problem needs to be identified – it’s necessary to find out where the liquid is coming from. Generally, the amount of liquid involved isn’t very large. This is a standard procedure in such installations; workers refer to it as “pressing oil.” I’ve done this many times, and there’s no need to add extra pumps – just make sure to be careful not to let the liquid flow in the wrong direction.
