Is furfural clay used to refine white oil? I use white clay here for adsorption. . . . . :(
Reply to 2# xvlzw2: Yes, bentonite is used to adsorb glue, asphaltenes, organic acids, and small amounts of solvents in petroleum products. What kind of oil do you produce? What is the raw material?

Reply to 3# Guo Manyi: In 2011, transformer oil was produced using hydrogenated white oil as raw material; clay was added to the reaction vessel, and then filtration was carried out using a plate and frame filter – of course, a vacuum filter was also used in the final stage. Furfural clay seems to be related to the production process of white oil, but we don’t engage in that area of business. :)

I worked at Baitu Refining, in the lubricant refining system; it serves as a supplementary refining step after paraffin dewaxing and furfural refining. In addition to removing gums and asphaltenes, it also helps with dehydration and reducing color intensity
Me 2: It’s the same here too; the factory has a system for refining white clay, which is mainly used to reduce color intensity and further decrease the oil content in cumene dewaxing oil.
