At 6:00 p.m. today, this workshop noticed significant shaking in the chimney. The chimney is 60 meters tall, and its shaking range from side to side is 50 cm. There is a light westerly wind; we are seeking an explanation for this shaking.

Based on my experience, it’s normal for chimneys to sway to some extent; however, this swaying isn’t noticeable from below – one has to climb to the top to detect its magnitude.
