I would like to ask the experts: are there any manufacturers in China that design and produce gas cylinders for transporting liquid bromine?
It seems not; these days liquid bromine is stored in porcelain jars, even when transported in whole containers.
Thank you for the advice from the second floor. Could the manufacturer of mobile pressure vessels be asked to design and produce such containers specifically?
At present, the transportation of small-volume liquid bromine in China generally involves secondary packaging in porcelain jars or glass bottles; it becomes impossible to transport it when the volume is slightly larger! Internationally, tank containers are generally used for transportation, but the tanks must be lined with lead! ! Relevant domestic design and manufacturing standards are set to be introduced. If transport via tank containers is to be used, it is possible to contact relevant companies, such as Nantong CIMC Tank Storage and Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd.! ! :) :) Liquid bromine has a UN regulatory number of 1744 and belongs to Category 8, corrosive liquid substances; it can be transported in tanks in accordance with the requirements specified in the United Nations Economic and Social Council’s Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (Orange Book), with the additional special requirements for TP2, TP10, TP12, and TP13. :) :)
It’s not available in China; the most advanced technology is likely to be found in Israel. Some domestic manufacturers are still using them.
