Reply to 3# ysh051225: There is no issue with your temperature value; our current catalyst outlet temperature is 228 degrees. There’s not much to say about this; as long as the distillation process is working fine, that’s all that matters. If hydrogen is not recovered from the synthesized purge gas, it is then necessary to consider how much gas needs to be vented and whether temperature elevation is required.
If your output doesn’t decrease, there’s no need to raise the temperature. How much do you produce per hour?

Hehe, the one from Nanhua Institute has good low-temperature activity; its performance declines relatively quickly when the temperature exceeds 245 degrees. The methanol synthesis reaction is an exothermic reaction; therefore, if the reaction temperature is low, the conversion rate will definitely be low, and the efficiency will certainly not be good. However, the minimum temperature for the South Chemical Institute must be above 210 degrees; otherwise, impurities such as wax will form. You need to check whether the catalyst’s activity has decreased and whether an increase in temperature is necessary. This depends mainly on the circulation ratio (that is, the pressure in the synthesis tower). If the circulation ratio increases and the pressure in the synthesis tower rises, then an increase in temperature is required; otherwise, the energy consumption will increase, which would be counterproductive. The temperature at the inlet is 229 degrees (so what is your inlet temperature?). It’s also necessary to consider the outlet temperature; if it’s high, for example 240 degrees, then it’s as if the water in the drum is being used to heat the catalyst.
I guess you need to raise the temperature of your catalyst and give it a try; if that doesn’t work, it will need to be replaced
Dalian Rick has good low-temperature activity; it can reach full production at 215 degrees Celsius without producing any by-products. As for Nanhua, our company used it in the past, but it caused severe wax formation
