Our company deals in rubber products, and during the vulcanization process, the products need to be placed in a steam pressure vessel where they are heated with steam. Currently, we use carbon steel for these vessels; since the inner walls aren’t treated in any way, they tend to rust, and the rust can contaminate the products. I would like to ask those with more experience if there are any effective methods to prevent rusting. The specifications of the vulcanization vessel are as follows: diameter of 2.5 meters, height of 2 meters, with an open-top cover, which makes it easy to work on the inner walls. Under normal operating conditions, the steam pressure is 5 kilograms, and the actual temperature is 150 degrees. The process involves placing the products on special racks, lowering these racks into the vessel, closing the lid, exposing the products to steam at 150 degrees for one hour, and then releasing the steam. Please let me know if there are any practical solutions. Thank you! Additionally, any measures must be taken on the inner walls only, as the products are directly exposed to steam; no covering or other methods can be used on their surface.

Then brush on the material. This material can withstand water vapor at 185°C. Moreover, in this environment, the compressive strength is 300 kilograms per square centimeter. It’s just that the price isn’t cheap. Feel free to contact me if you need anything.
I’m not sure if internal coating with resins like PTFE would work.
