This post was last edited by ♂Rogue♀Knife on 2011-3-14 at 13:59. There is currently a 500L dissolution tank containing around 300L of ethanol solution, with the solution temperature maintained at 50–55°C. A condenser is required; I hope experts can help calculate the amount of cooling power needed
The conditions weren’t clearly specified; it wasn’t stated where the heat comes from or how to remove it
Is it necessary to maintain the temperature of the ethanol solution in the reactor at 50–55°C? Where is the heat source? What provides the heat source?

Does SBS need to remove the heat of solution generated by dissolving in water?
Apply appropriate reduced pressure to bring the boiling point of alcohol to 50-55
