Height of the unloading buffer tank

The client requires that a buffer tank be installed for unloading at the tank farm; the unloading rate is around 40 m3/h. I have chosen a buffer tank with dimensions of φ2600x1500. I’m not sure if this height is sufficient; the key issue is knowing the height of the tank trucks. Could anyone with experience give me some advice? Thank you!
What material is being leaked? It has nothing to do with the height of the tank truck, right? It can’t be a dump truck, right? The most important factors are the pump, as well as the requirements regarding material cavitation and other aspects
Reply to 2# MintLife: It is a gravity-fed unloading process, with glycerin as the material. The material flows from the tank truck into the buffer tank and then into the unloading pump (gear pump). The level of the buffer tank must not be higher than that of the tank truck

It’s fine without a tank; it depends on the unloading pipeline, which is usually DN80. The inlet of your pump is usually DN65, and the pipeline isn’t long either – so what do you need a buffer tank for?
