I have a CAD file from the 2004 version, but whenever I try to open it, the CAD software crashes at the step of regenerating the model; it won’t open. Please, experts, tell me what the reason is. I really need this file urgently
The content of the diagram was likely damaged during saving, or it was saved in a higher-version CAD format. Try getting a higher version

First, you can try opening other drawings with CAD2004, or just open CAD2004 to see if the issue you mentioned exists. If there are problems when opening a blank CAD file or other drawing files, you can try this method: Open the Control Panel, go to Internet Options, select Advanced, and check whether the publisher’s certificate has been revoked; also uncheck the box next to \"Check server certificate revocation\". Open CAD directly, enter the ‘recover’ command, select the drawing to be repaired, and see if it works； Or use a higher version of CAD to repair or open it
I tried using the premium version, but it didn’t work either; CAD crashed when the regeneration process reached around 13%. Even after making fixes, it still didn’t work. Could it be that the file was already damaged before it was sent to me?
