Problems with professional titles?

Since we already have the titles of assistant engineer and intermediate engineer, now there are intermediate engineers working on this, as well as technicians and senior technicians with technical titles. I wonder what sense it makes to pursue both approaches? I don’t understand – as an engineering technician, should one focus on both aspects or just one of them? It’s too confusing. Should I become an engineer first and then move on to becoming a senior technician? It comes in chunks; there’s no need to do too much at the initial stage, as that would be a waste of resources
Take a two-pronged approach to show that you have both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
It’s best to do all kinds of things, in a more intense way.
