GB709-2006: Dimensions, shapes, weights and allowable tolerances of hot-rolled steel plates and strips. 4.2 Classifies thickness tolerances into four categories: Category N, Category A, Category B, and Category C; however, this classification is rather vague – how exactly are they divided? I need expert advice!
Class N deviation: The positive deviation and negative deviation are equal; Class A deviation: A negative deviation is specified according to the nominal thickness; Class B deviation: The negative deviation is fixed at 0.3 mm; Class C deviation: A negative deviation of zero is specified, while the positive deviation is determined based on the nominal thickness
It’s a problem. GB713-2014 requires compliance with GB709. Learn it first and then take another look
Regarding grounding, is there such a classification for cold-rolled steel sheets? If not, does that mean the deviations of cold-rolled steel sheets are all of the same type? Positive and negative deviations?
