Urgent! What are the sulfur content values for high-sulfur fertilizer coal, medium-sulfur fertilizer coal, and low-sulfur fertilizer coal respectively? How to tell the difference? It’s not listed in the coal classification!
Sulfur content is not an indicator for classifying coal types. In national standards, coking coal is classified primarily based on its caking properties. As for the level at which sulfur content constitutes high sulfur content, this depends on the criteria set by various companies as well as market supply and demand conditions. For example, in previous years, coal with a sulfur content of less than 0.8 was quite common, but such coal is now rare. What used to be considered high-sulfur coal may now still be referred to as ordinary coal, while coal with an even higher sulfur content is classified as high-sulfur coking coal.
The original poster can use the sulfur content classification standards for coal classification; it seems that coal with a sulfur content of less than 1% is considered low-sulfur, while that with a sulfur content above 3% is high-sulfur. Coal with sulfur content in between falls into the category of medium-high sulfur coal. I can’t remember the exact figures. It’s just that the sulfur content in manufacturing enterprises differs from the sulfur content levels in that classification; it depends on the specific circumstances.
