However, these two oil pumps do not have an interlocking mechanism that allows them to start one another; when one oil pump fails, the machine has to be shut down before the other pump can be started, which has a significant impact on production. I would like to ask the experts: Is it possible to set up an interlocking mechanism between these two oil pumps? Is there such a setting?
Interlocks can be set up; it’s better to have interlocks as they result in fewer failures.
