Ternary flow pumps are designed using the \"ternary flow theory of turbomachinery,\" which helps to improve the efficiency and operational reliability of the pumps. It is said that some companies have already applied such modifications to their circulation pumps. The annual energy consumption of the system after renovation is:
1692.2 kW/h × 8400 h = 14,214,480 kW/year
The annual energy consumption of the system before renovation was:
2007.6 kW/h × 8400 h = 16,863,840 kW/year
Calculation of energy savings rate:
Energy savings rate = (Energy consumption before renovation – Energy consumption after renovation) / Energy consumption before renovation × 100%
= (16,863,840 kW/year – 14,214,480 kW/year) / 16,863,840 kW/year = 15.71%
Annual cost savings from energy savings:
= (Energy consumption before renovation – Energy consumption after renovation) × Electricity cost per kW
= 2,649,360 kW/year × 0.55 yuan/KW = 1,457,148 yuan
