Seeking advice: Is it possible to reuse the cooling water from multi-stage centrifugal pumps?

The oil depot has two centrifugal pumps that require approximately 5.6 tons of cooling water per day, all of which is discharged into the waste water well, which is quite wasteful. Is there any good way to recycle this water? Thank you
