I would like to ask everyone: where can I find C4 resources that contain isobutylene? Our factory has a constant demand for this product at 600 tons per month; the isobutylene content should ideally be between 40-90%. If you have this product in stock, please provide your contact information
Liquefied gas contains isobutylene, which is generally used as a raw material for producing MTBE； To obtain isobutylene with higher purity, the MTBE is subjected to a reverse reaction.
As mentioned above, isobutylene is the raw material for MTBE; it is present in the gas-phase reformation fractions, with a normal content of around 15%. To obtain high-purity isobutylene, use MTBE for a reverse reaction. What I don’t understand is that since it’s a requirement of the factory, was the supplier already contacted before the equipment was designed?
All major refineries have liquefied gas, but they usually use it internally; the isobutylene content in the butane products they sell is very low
40-90% isobutylene – what kind of equipment is it used as raw material for? For the raw materials in MTBE plants, 8–30% isolethylene is generally sufficient; there is no need for such a high level of 40–90%.
